Michael Collier is one of the world’s leading authorities on high performance sales. He has helped thousands of salespeople at all levels transform the way they sell to reach their full potential in sales and significantly increase both their confidence and income while decreasing their stress.

He began his career as a rookie sales rep at a Fortune 10 company and quickly realized that the traditional sales model wasn't working for the majority of salespeople.  He couldn't understand why companies would allow the majority of their salespeople to consistently underachieve, while only a few had consistent success and earned the majority of income. 

After intense analysis and research of the traits and behaviors of the top five percent salespeople, Michael radically changed his sales approach and stopped selling according to the 'status quo' and mindlessly following failed sales methodologies. He soon became one of the best performers in the company and consistently ranked in the top 2% of all salespeople. He was promoted to lead successful sales teams, coaching and mentoring reps to new levels of performance and helping them to achieve both their personal and professional goals.

Michael was later recruited to lead a national sales sales organization of over 500 salespeople. During his tenure the company achieved record-breaking financial performance, with over eighty-percent of the salesforce at or above quota.  He then went on to help several turnaround and startup organizations achieve unparalleled sales success, and was instrumental in raising over $850 million in growth funding.

His passion for sales improvement is grounded in two simple beliefs: 1) that the sales organization is the most important function within any business; and, 2) that any problem in business can be fixed by more sales. He knows firsthand that any problem or challenge facing a company can be overcome by a high-performing sales organization. For years he has helped both companies and salespeople overcome their challenges and reach unprecedented levels of performance.

Michael possesses a deep understanding and passion for taking complex business services and emerging technologies, and creating sales and product strategies that generate significant revenue growth and strong EBITDA performance, even during the most challenging economic conditions. His ability to merge business strategy with sales execution has made him one of the most sought after business consultants for large and small companies, as well as private equity.  

Michael now devotes all his time and efforts training, coaching, and mentoring individual salespeople. He developed the highly acclaimed One Percent Selling Program to help salespeople reach new levels of performance and to achieve both their personal and professional goals.
